Welcome to Taroandti.com. I know this site is pretty much a plant site, but this is one indulgence I’ll make. Sericulture - rearing Bombyx Mori caterpillars - silkworms - is an infrequent hobby of mine. It would be more frequent if I had my mulberry orchard in, but all in good time. These are some fascinating creatures, who spin their cocoons that provide us with some of the most sophisticated fabric nature can provide.

I’ll document my sericulture adventures here and my future mulberry silkworm orchard as well. Hopefully soon I’ll actually get beyond the neato rearing aspect and into the actual spinning-the-silk aspect - if so I’ll be sure to include my attempts and disasters here as well.
